Leroy stepped into the role of Club Secretary in October 2024 and has already brought a wave of positive change. His vision and determination are beginning to pay off, with clear improvements being felt across the club. Driven by a passion to make Spencers the place to be, Leroy’s energy and commitment leave little doubt that he’s well on his way to achieving it.

Outside of his work at the club, Leroy enjoys spending quality time with his family—and when it’s time to unwind, his drink of choice is a good rum.

Marilyn has been working at Spencer’s for around 20 years. She enjoys playing bowls, knitting and walking. Her drink of choice is rose wine.

Jason has been a trustee and committee member since 1986. He enjoys fishing, football and spending time with his grandchildren. His drink of choice is export. 

Sammi has been working behind the bar here now for 4 years. She works full time as a veterinary receptionist, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, swimming and seeing her friends. Her drink of choice is a flavoured gin.

John has been a member for many years in the club, He has also now stepped up to do the club maintenance on weekends. March 2026 he was Elected and the new Club President. His drink of choice is Carlsburg or Jacks blueberry shots

Ken has been a member of the club for over 25 years. He has been a part of the committee for 10 years, and was previously a subcommittee member for finance and staffing interviews, as well as a former webmaster. He has a keen interest in all sports, and his drink of choice is a good whisky.
